Disassembly

1. CLEAR YOUR RIFLE!

(follow these steps as described on Page 9). If attached, disconnect the Sling for

convenience.

Push in Takedown Pin (a metal punch may help) as far as it will go.

Pivot Upper Receiver from

Lower Receiver.

Push in Pivot Pin (a metal punch may help).

Pivot Lower Receiever down and away from Upper Receiver.

Remove Bolt Carrier and Bolt.

(picture 17-18)

Remove Charging Handle by pulling back and up until “Ears” clear cutouts in Receiver.

Remove Firing Pin Retaining Pin. A metal punch or pliers may help to remove it from the Bolt Carrier.

NOTE:

Wear protective eyewear during disassembly to protect your eyes from spring loaded components.
