heaters. You will find useful information including test procedures for split phase motors and trouble
shooting for various heaters.
The information contained in this section has been compiled using techniques that have been proven
and tested in the field.
PHP recommends that these tests and procedures be performed by a certified technician or mechanic.
Some of the tests and procedures may be dangerous should they be performed inaccurately or
carelessly.
Use common sense in handling anything with electrical current or that has exposed moving parts
when performing tests or procedures. Always wear proper safety equipment, such as safety glasses and
gloves when necessary.
