Always clean Grooming System attachments regularly to ensure maximum
performance and a proper operating life. The trimmer is washable so it can be
used in the shower or rinsed under water during cleaning. Therefore, to maintain
performance of cutters, oil after rinsing.
Cleaning Cautions
■The handheld unit should be detached from the power supply cord before
cleaning.
■Only the attachments and combs may be removed for cleaning.
■Cleaning should be done with a soft brush.
■Only use a light-grade oil like sewing machine oil. These oils will not evaporate
or slow down the blades.
■Do not use harsh or corrosive cleaners on the units or their cutters.
■Do not apply pressure or hard objects to cutters.
■Do not disassemble cutter assembly.
■There are no user serviceable parts.
CLEANING TRIMMER ATTACHMENTs WITH BRUSH / WATER
■Thoroughly brush and blow out hair clippings from cutter system, attachment,
and handle.
■Rinse the attachment under warm running water. Do NOT use extremely hot
water as this might cause damage to components.
CLEANING FOIL SHAVER
■Do NOT oil foil shaver attachment as this is permanently lubricated.
■Press release buttons inward at sides of screen head.
■ Remove head and shake out clippings. Blow off cutter assembly.
■Replace head, snapping in place to secure.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
The Body Trimmer can be used in the shower or rinsed under water during
cleaning. Therefore, to maintain performance of cutters, oil after rinsing.
EXTENDABLE HANDLE
This body groomer is equipped with an extendable handle to provide added
extension to trim hard to reach areas such as the back.
To extend the handle:
1. Press the chrome Release Button in the middle of the groomer body
2. Pull the handle until locked into the fully extended position
To retract the handle:
1. Press against handle until it releases from the fully extended position
2. Slide the handle until it latches with the Release Button
REMOVING / ASSEMBLING ATTACHMENTS
All attachments can be assembled in 2 orientations, either facing forwards or
backwards to provide added versatility.
1. Make sure Groomer is turned OFF.
2. To remove an attachment: Twist the attachment counter clockwise ¼ of a turn
and pull head from Groomer Body.
To assemble an attachment: Align grooves on the neck of the attachment
with the Groomer Body in the desired orientation, insert attachment and twist
clockwise ¼ turn.
DETAIL TRIMMER ATTACHMENT
Use the Detail Trimmer with the Detail Comb to control hair length.
Remove comb to define hairline edges or precision blending.
VERTICAL TRIMMER ATTACHMENT
The Vertical Trimmer is designed to quickly trim hair over large areas such as the
chest and back. Using the Vertical Trimmer with the handle extended is ideal for
trimming all hard to reach areas. The Vertical Comb can be used in any of the
three length settings by sliding the comb in the grooves on the trimmer or the
comb can be removed for a close trim.
How To Use
FOIL SHAVER ATTACHMENT
1. Trim hair to shortest length (no comb) with either the Detail or Vertical Trimmer.
2. Pull skin taut with your free hand to force the trimmed hairs to stand on end.
3. Use short, circular strokes with the Foil Shaver Attachment over desired area. For
best results only apply light pressure on the shaving head while shaving.
4. Always position the shaver foil so the center of the foil is in contact with the skin.
5. Due to the varying direction body hair grows the Foil Shaver may require multiple
passes to remove all hair.
The groomer is a wet groomer, the hand-held part of which
may be used in a bath or shower.
OILING BLADES & CAUTIONS
■Rinsing attachments under water (above) requires lubricating the cutting blades.
Using only light-grade oils (e.g. sewing machine oil), simply spread 1-2 drops
lightly over cutters with fingertip. Wipe away all excess.
■Use only light-grade oils as these will not evaporate nor slow down speed of
cutting blades.
■Do not use hair oil, grease, or any oil mixed with kerosene nor solvent as these
too will evaporate.
NOTE: Always recycle or properly dispose of batteries according to Local and
State requirements.
1. Unplug groomer from outlet to avoid risk of electrical shock.
2. Pry (2) screw covers from rear end of unit on either side of the
charge socket and remove screws.
